What are Access Control Systems?

Access Control Systems provide security by giving flexible control over who is allowed to enter a building and when. The systems Entacom install will keep your buildings, staff and assets secure and will provide security for single or multiple doors across all sites.

These systems give organisations the necessary security they require. Access is gained by a numeric code e.g. PIN with a keypad, or presenting a proximity card or FOB (depending on which type of reader is fitted).

Standalone Access Control Systems

Also referred to as PC based or Networked access control, this type of system may be used to control access on one or many doors in a building.

The systems are programmed at each door.

Access is gained by using a numeric code, a PIN with a keypad, by presenting a proximity token, or by ‘possession’ with hands free tokens depending on which type of reader is fitted.

Repair & Maintenance

Entacom take security very seriously and understand that buildings and staff could be at risk and will attend to any problems in a quick and professional manner.

Most faults are repairable, In the unusual case of a system needing to be replaced, a written quotation will be supplied.

When the quotation is accepted, the initial call out charge will be deducted.

Service contracts are available for all types of Electronic Security Systems.

Your Security System will last longer and work to its full potential if regularly serviced.

Contracts can be tailored to meet individual needs.
